I heard Vegas only has right at 200 entries!
Only a couple of events have heats. 5 Pro Elite Women, and 11 Pro Elite Men!
Now tell me, why do they need Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday to run this event? I'll tell you why, when you have this many days and parents have to take off work and get the kids out of school, it's tough. I spoke with someone today that is there at the event and they were just getting done with 3 person and 2 person relays and it was done..........and it's only 9am there!
The other feedback was that it looked like a ghost town in the rink too! WOW! What a loss for an event. Big awards don't get your numbers in, and neither does 5 days of racing.
I wish all the racers good luck. Looks like alot of skaters will come home with something!

I heard that the racing was good! Some fast times posted.
Sorry we couldnt be there. But you are right. JO ran on Thurs and we could not take Christopher out of school for 3 days or miss work.
I was looking forward to sight seeing though.. Maybe next time it can be Fri, Sat, Sun?

I also heard they had to pay for many National calibur Refs.....alot of overhead!

Yeah like 9-10 refs! WOW! Even took care of Chad Hedrick expenses while he came in for the meet! LOL
Lot of wasted time when the meet could have been done in 2 days! Indoor and outdoor!
.......and the entire Hyper release countdown! What a joke!

Did Chad even show up sat.? Last I saw him was at HardRock casino at 5am Sat. morning.
And yes the meet only had 157 entries from what my coach said.
