| What is the shortest frame availible that's 4x100? I am a classic and feel very comfortable on the 4x90 but my coach wants me on 4x100. I don't want to put myself out of commission with a "toe pick" so please let me know. Thank you. |

As a Classic Man, how tall are you for one? Shoe Size? We can go from there. The other thing is the length of Classic races. 500m, 1000m, and 2000m, just about all Classic men run a 12.80- 4x100 set up. I suggest get one to try or else you're going to get left behind. You can toe pick on any size frame or wheel. Jump on up to the big wheels, you'll be happy you did!

PlayerTSS2,

Don't worry jim has that problem even skating on MPC's lol. But I do have to say I skated on my first set of mpc's and I loved them. Kinda thought it was funny there is a note in there saying do not use untill certain date lol.

Sadly there are no female skaters at the rink I am at. I skate on an uncoated floor (not coated in 5 or more years) with MPC MTech 100mm Green's. I still slip on this floor but not as much as the other guys. One guy skates on 84mm +Grips and falls more than anybody. We don't have a team but we still haul @$$. We get 8 and 9 sec. laps on this floor and those of us doing those laps are on 100's. Just think of what we can do on a coated floor. lol |

8 sec laps on an uncoated floor....do you have the right size track laid out?? Its hard for alot of skaters to get that on a coated floor. I guess I can see 9+ sec laps though.

| Well I am sure it is the right size but, then again I have never mesured it. It was a little while ago but if I remember the time was 8.5 give or take a hunderth of a sec. or two. It was not set by me it was my friend Justin. My best was 9.2 if I had the means I would dive out to a coated rink to see if I could beat that. Champions is the closest but 50 miles with my broke down car won't happen. |
